Abbotsholme Events

Throughout the year there are many events in the abbotsholme calendar, one of the main ones being summer gathering. This is a key event for the schools history and has been taking place in the roseyard for over 125 years. One of my key goals was to bring these events into the 21st century. This would then help the school to grow there presence on social media and to help me get better at live streaming. In 2023 I designed and setup a streaming and PA system for the event, with 2 4K DSLRS being used as the cameras, feeding into OBS. Which was planned to be streaming to youtube, via a fibre networking cable that i setup directly from the schools starlink internet connection, however due to concerns over privacy the decision was made to record and edit the event afterwards. In order to edit the final video, I used premiere pro. This allowed me to correct the delay on the audio, cut between the shots and to colour grade the video.
