Showcases at Abbotsholme

Every term, Abbotsholme has a showcase, which contains between 9 - 10 acts and usually lasts about 1 and a half hours. Every showcase is technically complex and often involves more than 200 lighting cues and usually 16 mics. Often, I used QLab to automate the lighting and sound cues to ensure that the show could be operated by just myself and the director. This allowed the rest of my team to manage the complex prop / set requirements and man the followspots. Additionally showcases, allow members of crew to learn the ropes at both lighting and sound in a live production environment.
